Dear Parents, Friends, Staff and Students

Quiz Night

Over many months, there has been a lot of behind the scenes preparation for our 30th Anniversary Quiz Night and we are looking forward to the event this Saturday night (19th June), starting at 7.00 p.m. (Doors open at 6.30p.m.)  The proceeds of this event will be put towards our new nature playground, which the students are very excited about.  A huge thank you to Simone Cain and all of the team that supported her in organising this event.  We are very blessed and grateful to have such a supportive and hard working parent community.

Year Four Mass

Congratulations to all of the Year 4 students who participated so reverently in their first class mass since receiving their First Eucharist on Sunday 30th May.  Thank you to Father Joseph for leading the celebration, and Mrs Brescacin and Mrs Schelfhout for preparing the mass.  It was lovely to see all the parents and family who attended and shared morning tea with the students.

Pyjama Day – Life Link Fundraiser

We will be having a fundraiser in the last week of this term for Life Link, which is the umbrella organisation for many Catholic welfare agencies in Perth.  Students and staff will be dressing up in their pyjamas for the day and donating to this very worthy cause.

Monday 28th June        4 Year Old Kindy

Tuesday 29th June         3 Year Old Kindy and Years 1 to Year 6

This link will take you to a brief presentation which outlines all the wonderful work that Life Link does for those in need.

Semester One Reports

A message was sent to all parents from PP to Year 6 on Tuesday 15th June about setting up their access to SEQTA so that academic reports can be viewed and downloaded.  It is imperative that parents organise this quickly, as the link that has been given, expires within one week.

30th Anniversary Sundowner Invitation – Spread the Word!

A Sundowner invitation was sent home to all families last week.  Copies can be found in the document rack in the administration office.  Please come along to the sundowner and join us as we celebrate our 30th year.  We would love as many past parents, students and staff to join us for this celebratory event on Friday 23rd July at 6.00pm. Please spread the word so we can have a great turn out.  Please note that this is an over 18 event.  Please inform Mrs Kays or Mrs Renzullo in the office if you can attend.

Online Absentee Form

Parents are reminded that a notice of absence is required for students who are not attending school, for any reason.  An SMS is sent to parents if we have not been notified of an absence by 9.15am.  Absentee forms are no longer available on the Skoolbag App.  An online absentee form can be accessed via the website at the following link:

11th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Sometimes, even when you’ve planted the seeds, it may look for a time like nothing is happening. But that’s only because you can’t see what is going on beneath the soil.

You need to give it time.

You need to trust God to do his work.

We must plant the seeds.

God will make his kingdom grow.

Warm regards

CHEERFUL Our focus for this fortnight is being CHEERFUL.

What if we thought of cheerfulness as a habit of thinking and behaving in a way that is upbeat, optimistic, and easy-going, regardless of how we may feel at a given moment?

Situations abound for opportunities to make the world a slightly better place by acting cheerfully despite “not feeling it.” But it’s difficult to do this when we think about cheerfulness as something we either have or don’t have.

Some might say that cheerfulness is part of your character, you are just born “cheery” or have a “easy-going” nature.  Cheerfulness is about our actions as much as it is about our feelings. We need to give ourselves the opportunity to develop it and get better at it.

Pre-Kindy and Kindy Enrolments 2022

Pre-Kindy and Kindy enrolments for 2022 are filling up quickly.  We have only a small number of vacancies in both the Kindy and Pre-Kindy classes.  Please come into the office to collect an enrolment form or download a form available on our website.
