Dear Parents, Friends, Staff and Students
End of Term Prayer
We thank you Lord, for this term.
For the challenges, the successes, and the mistakes from which we have learnt.
Be with us as we spend our time with family and friends.
Give us strength and courage to do what is right; to be witnesses of our faith.
Help us to be a practical Christian these holidays, to appreciate what others do for us, to give time and effort to help others, to be peacemakers in our family.
Keep us safe in our activities; give us good rest and good fun.
Bring us back refreshed and ready for a new term.
We thank you for our classmates, teachers, parents and a community that cares for us.
May we always be conscious of you in our lives.
Amen
Well, here we are at the end of another school term. The term has flown by. However, it has been pleasing that we have had the second half of the term with few COVID restrictions. It has been a challenging term for our staff, especially with so many students away each week. I am most grateful to our staff for their dedication and resilience during the term. I thank the staff, on your behalf, for providing a high standard of learning across all year levels throughout Term Two.
Thank you to Karen Keddie and staff for keeping everything running smoothly at school during my absence over the past two weeks. It is great to be back after my two weeks of walking the Aussie Camino in St Mary MacKillop’s footsteps. I look forward to sharing snippets of my travels with our community.
Best wishes for a safe and enjoyable school holiday period with your families. I hope you find time to rest, relax and enjoy family time together.
Term Two concludes on Thursday 30th June, and Term Three commences, with NAIDOC Week celebrations, on Tuesday 19th July.
Warm regards
Therese Hussey
