Making Jesus Real  Week 11 Term 2

We would like to welcome a new member to our Matthew Gibney community – MATTY the bear. Matty, is our MJR mascot.  He will become a member of the class that has demonstrated that they are trying really hard to show the MJR value for the fortnight. Each week, children will be recognised for their efforts to show the value we are highlighting.  They will get a “Golden Ticket” to place in the Gold Box, and then the class with the most golden tickets, will get a visit from Matty for a fortnight.  All of the Golden Tickets, from across the school, will be gathered together and a name chosen.  This will be our MJR Star of the fortnight. We are very excited to have Matty as part of our school, as we continue to Make Jesus Real every day, through our words, actions and thoughts. 

LifeLink

Congratulations to our school community for raising $300 for LifeLink on Tuesday with our Pyjama Day. Everyone loved coming to school in their warm and cuddly PJs.  We are so happy that our money will be able to make a difference, giving hope and support to many people.
