Enrolments for 2022

Parents are reminded to please inform the school, as soon as possible, if your children will not be returning in 2022.  We have a number of families on wait lists and we would like to offer positions if vacancies are available.  Kindy has a few places available for 2022.  Please encourage family members or friends, who are considering Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School for 2022, to enrol as soon as possible.

Making Jesus Real – Term 4 Week 3

Our MJR value this fortnight is ENCOURAGEMENT. 

Words of encouragement can revitalize us. Positive words have the power to give us the strength we need to press on.  An encouraging word can inspire us to change our attitude.  Knowing that there’s someone who believes that we can make it.  The definition of the word “encourage” is, “to inspire with courage, spirit, or hope.” Encouragement is meant to raise someone’s spirit.  As a MJR community, we look out for one another, we look to see where we can lift others up and bring hope. 

 

Pre-Primary Good News

What a busy start to the term we have had in PrePrimary. We started with writing our holiday recounts. The children did a fabulous job remembering the important elements of our recounts. We have also been busy learning a story called Fire Dog Frizzle which we are performing for Matthew Gibney Day. We can’t wait to share it with everyone!
