School Jumpers

I am pleased to let families know that Mrs Denys has organised sleeve lining for the winter school jumpers.  A number of children find the jumpers itchy and irritating.  We hope the sleeve inserts will alleviate this problem.  Please contact Mrs Denys in the Uniform Shop if you would like to take a look at the sleeve lined jumpers and give one a try. Mrs Denys is available to add the sleeve lining to existing purchased jumpers. The uniform shop is open each Thursday morning.

Save the Date – Cybersafe Parent Workshop

The P&F have organised a parent wine an cheese workshop evening, facilitated by Paul Litherland from Surf Online Safe, about cybersafety for children.  The workshop will take place on Wednesday 2nd November at 7.00pm.  Please sae the date.

Enrolments for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten 2023 and 2024

Kindergarten enrolments for 2023 will be finalised over the next two weeks.  We are currently accepting applications for Pre-Kindergarten in 2023 and Kindergarten in 2024.  I know this sounds early, however, this year the Kindergarten places have filled very quickly.  I strongly encourage families with young children who are ready to commence Pre-Kindy or Kindy in 2023 or 2024 to complete an application form.   Please inform family and friends, who may be interested in enrolling at Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School, to get in touch as soon as possible.

Year 6 – Xavier, Cooper and Imogen, have been creating art inspired by the artist, Jimmy Pike, a Walmajarri man of the Great Sandy Desert, who shares his knowledge and love of his desert home through his designs and use of bright colours!
