Our congratulations to Mrs Farmand, on the celebration of her wedding this weekend.  We wish Freda and John, lots of happiness and joy on their special day.  Freda will return to school after the holidays in Term 3, as Mrs Burgess.

Making Jesus Real Week 8 Term 2

Our MJR value this fortnight has been KINDNESS.                                           

“What is the difference between kindness and being nice?”

Most of us probably try to be nice and pleasant when we interact with others. After all, it works to our own benefit if others like us. Kindness, true Christian kindness, however, is much more than simply smiling and asking polite questions.

Kindness, is one of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, and it comes with our desire to live like Jesus. We are called to be kind to others because God is kind to us. He loves us when we are unlovable, and He does this over and over again.    

Mini Vinnies Milo Mornings

A huge thank you to the school for supporting the first couple of weeks of Milo Mornings for St Vincent De Paul’s Winter Appeal.  We are especially grateful for the donations of milo and marshmallows to help us raise even more money for such a good cause.  

Please remember to bring along your own mug, to save the environment on Waste Free Wednesdays.
