Canteen Survey

A short survey is clearly a good survey!  The response to the canteen survey has been excellent – thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. The survey closes on Friday this week.  Please click the link to complete if you have not already done so. Canteen Survey

Canteen News

Thank you for supporting our school canteen.  The canteen provides an excellent service, and I am pleased to see that sales are steady.  Parents are reminded that Pre-Primary students may order recess from the canteen on Tuesday and Friday.

I know many of our students lament the loss of the Yummy Drummies from the canteen menu.  Unfortunately, Yummy Drummies are no longer available from our supplier.  Mrs Honter is looking into alternatives.

Derby Day is on Friday 12th August.  The canteen will be running a special and pre-orders are required.  Please pick up an order form from the office if you have not received one.

Uniform Committee Meeting

All parents are invited to attend a meeting on Friday 19th August at 2.30pm.  This is an opportunity for parents to hear about progress with the girl’s winter trousers and to offer suggestions.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle

The annual Bunnings Sausage Sizzle will be held on Saturday 20th  August at Midland Bunnings.  The sausage sizzle is a significant fundraiser in the calendar and its success relies on assistance from our parents.  Please consider volunteering to help out at the sausage sizzle for a few hours. A roster will soon be shared with parents, and I encourage you to help out.  It is always good fun and a great opportunity to meet other parents.

Life Education Incursion 30th August

The Life Education Incursion will take place on Tuesday 30th August.  Life Education is an Australian preventive health program that empowers children to make safe and healthy choices in their lives.  The Life Education organisation has online parent sessions available for parents to log into so they can learn more about the content the children will be covering in their incursion.  The link can be accessed via the QR code or at:
