Good News

Geography in Year Three

We love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of drought and flooding rains.
We love her far horizons,
We love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror –
The wide brown land for us!

Year Three Geography this term enquiring into the beautiful land we all come home, Australia. This week we have been learning about the States, Territories, Capital Cities and other features of each state.

Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th March
• Sacramental Commitment Masses at St Francis of Assisi Church – all students receiving a Sacrament this year in Years 3, 4 and 6 are expected to attend.

Wednesday 15th March
• NAPLAN commences Years 3 and 5

Thursday 16th March
• Paul Litherland Cyber Safety Workshop 6.30pm.
