Religious Education News

On Friday morning, we held a short prayer service with a representative from each class to give thanks for the gift of our Mums. We have uploaded our prayers for you, to Facebook, so all our mums can know that they are special and that we love them.
MJR Focus – Forgiveness
Our focus for the next fortnight (Weeks 3 and 4) is FORGIVENESS.
“Sorry” is a small word, but it is so important. It is a great quality to recognise that you have done something wrong, admit it and say sorry. Big-hearted people can say “sorry” or apologise. However, it is equally important to be able to forgive others, and Jesus asked us to not hold grudges or hang onto hurt and resentment. We need to have mercy and forgive each other, as God is merciful in forgiving us. God has forgiven all of our sins and He asks that we do the same for others.

Pre-Kindy and Kindy Enrolments 2021
Our Pre-Kindy and Kindy enrolment interviews will take place in Term Two and Term Three. Current families who wish to enrol in one of the Kindy programs are reminded that an application form needs to be completed and returned to the school as soon as possible so an interview can be arranged.
Please support our Kindy programs by informing other family members, friends and neighbours that Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School is currently accepting enrolments. Application forms are available on the website or from the administration office. https://www.gibney.wa.edu.au/forms/
