Year 4 Good News
The Year 4 class have been making beautiful First Eucharist artwork!
Birthday Food Treats
I appreciate that parents send individually wrapped treats for birthday celebrations. The individually wrapped treats make it easier for class teachers to distribute in a hygienically appropriate manner. Please continue to do this for the remainder of this year.
Parent Visitors and Volunteers Sign in Requirements
It is essential that we are always aware of who is in the school during the school day. Parents coming in to volunteer in classrooms or attending class and school events during the school day are required to sign in at administration. We will have sign in sheets available for parents visiting for assembly, in order to avoid large numbers gathering in the office. Thank you to our parents for their cooperation with this safety procedure at school.
Additional P&F Meeting – Tuesday 15th September 1.45pm
In order to give as many parents as possible an opportunity to contribute ideas towards the P&F we have decided to have an additional afternoon meeting on Tuesday 15th September, from 1.45-2.45pm. I hope that the additional meeting will be an opportunity for parents with young children, who may find it difficult to attend an evening meeting, to come along and have their voice heard about planning for 2021. We will have some toys available to cater for young children and afternoon tea will be available.
Interschool Carnival
Parents are reminded that the Interschool Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday 18th September. A note about the carnival was sent home to the Matthew Gibney Interschool Team members. Included in the note was catering information. Please make sure that the notes are returned as soon as possible so the P&F can be organised for the day.
Matthew Gibney Catholic Primary School Father and Kids Camp 2020
Interest in the annual Father and Kids Camp has been excellent. There are now limited places available for the Lancelin Camp in November. Fliers are available in the administration office with further information for any Dads who have not yet made their booking to attend.
